CompositionLobg Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise are not enough to control blood sugar. It is a single-ingredient thiazolidinedione (TZD) medicine containing pioglitazone.
It helps the body's cells respond better to the insulin already present, which lowers blood sugar and helps prevent long-term complications. Take it with or without food, alongside diet and exercise, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Eat controlled portions of rice, roti and sweets, stay physically active, and check your weight regularly, as sudden gain can signal fluid build-up.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart failure, liver disease or a history of bladder cancer, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report swelling of the ankles or feet, unexplained weight gain or blood in the urine. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
