Lipicure-20 Tablet is used in adults to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels and to help reduce the long-term risk of heart attack and stroke.

Uses of Lipicure-20 Tablet are:

• High Cholesterol: Lowers total and LDL (bad) cholesterol and manages raised triglycerides.
• Dyslipidaemia Management: Treats mixed dyslipidaemia and familial hypercholesterolaemia.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: May help reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke as part of long-term cholesterol management.

To properly use Lipicure-20 Tablet, follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It is okay to take the tablet with or without food.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

Lipicure-20 Tablet is taken orally.

Lipicure-20 Tablet contains atorvastatin (20 mg), which interacts with your body in the following ways:

• Inhibition of HMG-CoA Reductase: Atorvastatin functions by blocking an enzyme known as HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This particular enzyme plays a pivotal role in forming cholesterol inside your body.

• Decrease in Blood Cholesterol: By inhibiting the activity of HMG-CoA reductase, atorvastatin effectively reduces blood cholesterol levels.
