Lipicure-20 Tablet is used to lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels, manage mixed dyslipidemia, and manage homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. It helps modestly increase HDL cholesterol and may help reduce the risk of heart-related events, such as heart attack and stroke, by improving overall lipid balance when used as part of long-term cholesterol management.

To properly use Lipicure-20 Tablet, follow these steps:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It is okay to take the tablet with or without food.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• For specific dosage instructions, consult your doctor.

Lipicure-20 Tablet is taken orally.

Lipicure-20 Tablet contains atorvastatin (20 mg), which interacts with your body in the following ways:

• Inhibition of HMG-CoA Reductase: Atorvastatin functions by blocking an enzyme known as HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This particular enzyme plays a pivotal role in forming cholesterol inside your body.

• Decrease in Blood Cholesterol: By inhibiting the activity of HMG-CoA reductase, atorvastatin effectively reduces blood cholesterol levels.

• Regular physical activity: Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week. Exercise can raise your 'good' cholesterol while lowering your 'bad' cholesterol and triglycerides, complementing the effect of Lipicure-20 Tablet.
