CompositionLiofen 10 Tablet is used to reduce muscle stiffness, painful spasms and tightness caused by neurological conditions such as spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and stroke. It helps improve movement and daily comfort.
It contains baclofen, a centrally acting muscle relaxant. It works by calming the nerve signals that cause muscles to tighten.
Take it regularly as prescribed. Do not stop it suddenly, as abrupt withdrawal can worsen spasticity and cause serious effects including hallucinations and seizures; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually if stopping.
Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, seizures or stroke before use. Avoid alcohol, and report confusion, unusual weakness or worsening spasms.
