Lezyncet Syrup is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, watery eyes, and itching or irritation of the nose and throat. It also helps manage skin allergies with itching and rash.
It contains levocetirizine, an antihistamine that works by blocking histamine, a chemical the body releases during an allergic reaction. Give the syrup to your child using the measuring device provided, as directed by your paediatrician, with or without food.
Reducing your child's exposure to known allergy triggers, such as dust, pollen and pet dander, keeping the home well ventilated, and washing bedding regularly can help lessen allergy symptoms alongside this medicine.
Before giving this medicine, tell your doctor if your child has a history of asthma, or any kidney problems, to make sure the dose is safe for them. Stop the syrup and consult your doctor if your child develops a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face or difficulty breathing.
