CompositionLecope Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, hay fever, and chronic urticaria (hives). It helps ease sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin reactions such as rashes or hives. It belongs to a class of medicines called antihistamines, which block the chemical histamine that triggers allergic symptoms.
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Continue taking it for as long as advised, even once your symptoms settle, to keep allergic reactions under control during periods of high exposure to allergens.
Identifying and avoiding known allergy triggers, such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and certain foods, can help reduce the frequency and severity of allergic symptoms alongside this medicine. Keeping windows closed during high-pollen periods and using air purifiers may also help.
Tell your doctor before starting if you have kidney problems, epilepsy, or are taking other sedating medicines. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you, as it may cause drowsiness.
