Alday Activ Tablet 10

Alday Activ Tablet is used for the following:

• Providing relief from hay fever, also known as allergic rhinitis

• Managing symptoms of other upper respiratory allergies

• Controlling hives or itchy welts on the skin, a condition known as urticaria

Here are some instructions you should follow while taking Alday Activ Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

• It can be taken with or without food according to your preference.

• Do not take more than the recommended dosage unless advised by your doctor.

• If you feel the need to stop the medicine, consult your doctor first.

Alday Activ Tablet is taken orally.

Alday Activ Tablet contains Levocetirizine (5 mg), which works on the body in a particular way:

• Blocks H1 Receptors: Levocetirizine is a potent antagonist of histamine H1 receptors. By blocking these receptors, it prevents histamine from acting on them.

• Inhibits Release of Allergy Causing Chemicals: When Levocetirizine blocks H1 receptors, it prevents further release of other allergy-causing chemicals within your body.

• Enhances Blood Supply: Levocetirizine also increases blood supply to areas affected by an allergic reaction, helping alleviate symptoms.

Remember, Alday Activ Tablet doesn't prevent the release of histamine from mast cells; instead, it simply stops histamine from binding to its receptors.

• Keep Alday Activ Tablet in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.

• Protect the tablet from light and air exposure.

• Securely store it out of reach from children.

• Use the medicine before its expiry date.

• If you're managing allergies and hay fever, try to avoid known allergens in your diet, such as certain foods, dust mites or pollen.
