LCF LS Syrup is used to manage bronchitis, bronchial asthma, wheezing, and cough associated with bronchospasm. It helps loosen thick mucus, clear chest congestion, reduce airway tightening, and improve breathing comfort in respiratory conditions.

Administer LCF LS Syrup as follows:

• Measure the correct dose using a spoon or cup provided with the bottle.

• Ensure to shake the bottle well before each use, as this helps mix the medicine evenly.

• You can take this medicine with or without food, as per your convenience.

• This medicine contains sugar, which might not be suitable for diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before starting this medication.

LCF LS Syrup is taken orally.

LCF LS Syrup contains three active ingredients working together:

• Ambroxol (30 MG): This mucolytic agent works by reducing the thickness of mucus secretions in your respiratory tract. It breaks down complex mucus fibres and stimulates the production of a substance called surfactant that lowers surface tension within your lungs. The result is a less thick mucus that's easier to cough up.

• Levosalbutamol (1 MG): This component is a bronchodilator that works on specific receptors found on smooth muscle cells in your airways. It increases a substance called cyclic AMP inside these cells, leading to muscle relaxation and opening up of the airways. Levosalbutamol primarily targets receptors in the lungs, reducing potential side effects on your heart.

• Guaifenesin (50 MG): As an expectorant, guaifenesin promotes the drainage of mucus from your lungs by thinning bronchial secretions. It does this by stimulating receptors in your body that increase fluid secretions in your respiratory tract and decrease mucus thickness. This action helps cilia (small hair-like structures in your airways) more easily transport mucus out.

• Store LCF LS Syrup at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the container tightly closed, protecting the syrup from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always ensure it's out of reach of children.

• Use within one month of opening.

• If you're living with bronchial asthma, try to reduce exposure to triggers such as dust mites, pet dander and smoke. Regularly clean your home, particularly bedrooms and living areas.

• Incorporate foods rich in vitamin C like oranges and tomatoes into your diet. Vitamin C has anti-inflammatory properties which can help manage conditions like bronchitis by reducing inflammation in your airways.
