L-Cin 500 Tablet is used to treat various bacterial infections, including acute sinusitis, respiratory conditions, urinary tract infections, prostate infections, and skin infections. It is also used to reduce the risk of anthrax after exposure and to treat anthrax-related infections.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

L-Cin 500 Tablet is taken orally. 

L-Cin 500 Tablet contains the following component

• Levofloxacin (500 mg): It is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that penetrates bacterial cells. It targets DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes, which are critical for bacterial DNA replication, repair, and recombination. Levofloxacin binds to these enzymes and disrupts their function. This inhibition prevents bacterial DNA from unwinding and replicating correctly. Levofloxacin induces breaks in the bacterial DNA strands by interfering with DNA processes. The DNA damage hinders bacterial growth and reproduction. As a result, the bacteria become unable to multiply and spread.

• L-Cin 500 Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
