Dologel-CT Gel is used to relieve pain, swelling, and irritation in the mouth caused by ulcers, sore gums, braces, dentures, or minor infections. It works as an analgesic and antiseptic to provide quick relief and support faster healing.
Apply a small amount directly to the affected area with clean fingers or a cotton swab. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 15–20 minutes after application for optimal effect. Use only as prescribed by your doctor and avoid swallowing the gel.
Dologel-CT Gel is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with mouth ulcers. It also helps relieve symptoms associated with cold sores and discomfort caused by ill-fitting dentures or orthodontic appliances. The gel provides local pain relief and supports healing of affected oral tissues.
Dologel CT gel is meant for topical application at the site of oral ulcer or sore site.
Dologel-CT Gel may cause side effects such as skin irritation, itching, burning sensation, redness, numbness, tingling, and mild dryness at the application site. These effects are usually mild and short-lived, but consult your doctor if irritation persists or becomes severe.
These side effects subside on their own after initial use or on discontinuation of use of this gel. In case of persistent problems inform your doctor regarding the same.
Dologel CT gel is composed of three components:
Dologel CT gel should be applied with caution during pregnancy in low doses as advised by your doctor.
Dologel CT gel should be applied with caution during breastfeeding in low doses as advised by your doctor.
No known interactions but its use should be preferably avoided as alcohol has dehydrating effect which can further aggravate the oral ulcers.
Dologel CT gel is safe for use in patients with liver disease.
Dologel CT gel is safe for use in patients with kidney disease.
Dologel CT gel does not affect your ability to work with heavy machinery or drive.
If you are allergic to any component of Dologel CT gel, do not use it. Inform your doctor regarding the same.
Dologel-CT gel should not be used in children less than 16 years of age.
Dologel-Ct gel can be used safely in elderly patients.
Peptic ulcer disease- can aggravate it
The recommended daily dose of Dologel-CT gel applying it on the sore or ulcer not more than once every 3 hours or as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage and number of applications depend on the severity of the mouth ulcers. Consult your doctor before exceeding the prescribed dosage.
It is an unlikely occurrence, but if occurs can present with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diaphoresis and tinnitus. Inform your doctor if you experience any of these.
If you missed applying the gel, apply it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, it is recommended to skip the missed one now and resume your regular dosage pattern.
