CompositionIstavel D 10/100 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes in adults when diet, exercise or a single medicine are not enough. It is a combination medicine containing dapagliflozin (an SGLT2 inhibitor) and sitagliptin (a DPP-4 inhibitor).

Before starting, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, frequent genital or urinary infections, or a history of pancreatitis, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Seek urgent help if you feel very unwell with nausea, vomiting and rapid breathing, as this can rarely signal a serious condition called ketoacidosis. Ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
