INTAGLIP M SR 500 TABLET 10 may interact with the following medications, including

• Cationic Medications: Metformin, a key component of INTAGLIP M SR 500 TABLET 10, can interact with cationic medications like amiloride, digoxin, and trimethoprim, potentially increasing their plasma concentrations.
• Iodinated Contrast Agents: Using these agents with INTAGLIP M SR 500 TABLET 10 may lead to acute kidney failure and lactic acidosis. It’s advisable to temporarily discontinue the medication during such procedures.
• CYP3A4 Inducers: Medicines like rifampicin may reduce the effectiveness of vildagliptin, another active ingredient in INTAGLIP M SR 500 TABLET 10.

INTAGLIP M SR 500 TABLET 10 can interact with conditions/diseases, including

• Kidney Impairment: Not recommended for individuals with kidney disease as metformin is primarily excreted through the kidneys.
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis: Unsuitable for patients with this condition.
• Severe Liver Dysfunction: Should be avoided in severe liver disease as it may worsen the condition.

The overdose of INTAGLIP M SR 500 TABLET 10 can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, flatulence and dizziness. If an overdose happens, seek medical attention immediately and follow the instructions accordingly.

If you miss a dose of INTAGLIP M SR 500 TABLET 10, take it as soon as you remember. However, avoid repeating the dose.
