Vinsorin M Tablet is a medicine used to help control blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is prescribed alongside diet and exercise when treatment with a single medicine does not provide adequate blood sugar control. Maintaining steady blood sugar levels helps lower the risk of long-term diabetes complications such as kidney damage, nerve pain, eye problems, and heart disease.
It contains vildagliptin and metformin. Swallow the tablet whole with food as prescribed to reduce the likelihood of stomach upset. Continue taking the medicine regularly even if your blood sugar reading improves. Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, as blood sugar levels may rise.
A balanced, portion-controlled diet with restricted carbohydrate intake, routine physical activity, and weight management are important components of managing type 2 diabetes. Monitoring your blood sugar levels regularly also helps support effective treatment.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease, liver impairment, heart failure, or severe infection. Report severe or persistent stomach pain, loss of appetite, or yellowing of the skin or eyes immediately. Your doctor may perform regular liver and kidney function tests during treatment.
