Inapure ER 10 Tablet is a medicine used to manage symptoms of stable angina pectoris (chest pain) and chronic heart failure in adults. It belongs to a group of medications known as selective heart rate reducing agents.
It contains ivabradine, which works by selectively lowering the heart rate. By slowing down the heart, it decreases the heart's demand for oxygen and improves the heart's efficiency.
It is particularly useful for patients who cannot tolerate beta-blockers or when beta-blockers are contraindicated. Take this medicine orally exactly as prescribed by your doctor, with meals.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a slow resting heart rate, liver problems, or an irregular heart rhythm. It is not recommended during pregnancy and should not be used during breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor.
