Ivabid OD 10 Tablet is used for the following:

• Treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris

• Management of heart failure with reduced heart function

• Controlling heart rate in patients with normal sinus rhythm

• Reducing chest pain in patients who cannot take beta-blockers

• Supporting standard heart failure therapy

• Improving exercise capacity in heart failure patients

• Complementing beta-blocker therapy in poorly controlled angina

Follow these instructions while taking Ivabid OD 10 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.

Ivabid OD 10 Tablet is taken orally.

Ivabid OD 10 Tablet contains ivabradine (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blocks HCN Channels: Ivabradine selectively inhibits the HCN channels in the heart's sinus node, which are responsible for generating the electrical signals that control heart rate.

• Heart Rate Reduction: By inhibiting the HCN channels responsible for the If current, ivabradine reduces the heart rate without affecting other cardiac functions.

• Oxygen Balance Improvement: The reduction in heart rate decreases myocardial oxygen demand while simultaneously increasing oxygen supply to the heart tissues.

• Antianginal Effect: Through its heart rate reduction mechanism, ivabradine relieves symptoms of angina by improving the balance between oxygen supply and demand in the heart muscle.

• Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine protected from light and moisture.
