CompositionHistac 150 Tablet is a medicine used to treat and prevent conditions caused by excessive stomach acid, including stomach ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and acid reflux disease.
It contains ranitidine, an H2-receptor antagonist. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Take it regularly as advised to allow ulcers to heal and to prevent symptoms from returning.
Avoid spicy, fried, or highly acidic foods, limit caffeine and alcohol consumption, and avoid eating late at night to help manage stomach acid levels effectively.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, liver disease, or a history of porphyria. Inform your doctor if you experience unexpected weight loss, severe stomach pain, or dark stools.
