Hepakind 150 Tablet is used in adults and children to manage gallstones and liver and biliary conditions by improving bile flow.

Uses of Hepakind 150 Tablet are:

• Primary Biliary Cholangitis: Treats this liver condition by improving bile flow and supporting liver health.
• Gallstone Prevention and Dissolution: Prevents and dissolves cholesterol-based gallstones.
• Cystic Fibrosis-related Liver Disease: Manages liver and biliary disorders related to cystic fibrosis in children aged 6 to 18 years.

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Hepakind-150 Tablet is taken orally. 

Hepakind-150 Tablet contains the following component:

• Ursodeoxycholic acid (150 mg): It is a naturally occurring bile acid that aids to dissolve cholesterol-based gallstones in the gallbladder, preventing their formation. It promotes bile flow in the liver and gallbladder, reducing the risk of bile duct obstruction and associated liver damage. In children with cystic fibrosis, this medicine helps manage liver disease associated with this condition, contributing to improved liver health.

• Hepakind-150 Tablet should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Include foods rich in vitamin B, C, and calcium, as they benefit gallbladder health.
• Plant-based protein sources such as beans, nuts, lentils, tofu, and tempeh can help prevent gallbladder issues.
• Steer clear of high-fat, trans-fat, and processed foods.
• Avoid or limit white bread, white pasta, and added sugar consumption.
• Say no to tobacco and limit alcohol intake for a healthier gallbladder.
