Hemolit Cream is used to manage pain and discomfort caused by various anorectal disorders.

Uses of Hemolit Cream are:

• Internal and External Hemorrhoids (Piles): It effectively reduces painful swelling, localised irritation, and discomfort in the rectal area.
• Anal Fissures: It soothes the painful lining of the anal canal to alleviate sharp pain during bowel movements.
• General Anorectal Discomfort: It relieves persistent burning, itching, and general distress associated with rectal conditions.

Here's how to use Hemolit Cream:

• Ensure the application area is clean and dry before applying the cream.

• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area 3 to 4 times daily, or as your doctor prescribes.

Hemolit Cream contains six active ingredients which work together to manage symptoms of haemorrhoids:

• Hydrocortisone Acetate (0.25%): As a mild corticosteroid, hydrocortisone decreases inflammation, redness, itching and swelling associated with haemorrhoids.

• Lidocaine/Lignocaine Hydrochloride (3%): This local anaesthetic numbs the area where it is applied, blocking signals responsible for pain transmission.

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (0.1%): Phenylephrine narrows blood vessels in the applied area, helping reduce swelling and bleeding from haemorrhoids.

• Troxerutin (2%): Troxerutin improves the tone of veins and reduces leakage from blood vessels, similar to calcium dobesilate. This helps reduce inflammation and swelling.

• Zinc Oxide (5%): Zinc oxide soothes and protects irritated skin around the anus, which aids healing of damaged tissue.
