Pilogo Plus Cream 30Gm

Pilogo Plus Cream is applied to the skin to relieve pain, itching and swelling caused by haemorrhoids and anal fissures, supporting comfort and healing.

Uses of Pilogo Plus Cream are:

• Haemorrhoid Relief: Eases pain, itching and swelling caused by haemorrhoids (piles).
• Anal Fissure Treatment: Helps treat anal fissures, reducing pain and discomfort.
• Local Numbing: Provides local numbing to relieve discomfort in the affected area.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using this cream.
• Clean and dry the affected area. 
• Puncture the nozzle seal with the piercing point of the cap.
• Fix the applicator provided and lubricate it well.
• Insert the nozzle 2-3 cm inside the anus to apply the cream.

Pilogo Plus Cream 30gm is intended for anal/rectal application. It should not be ingested orally or administered through any other route.

Pilogo Plus Cream 30gm contains the following components:

• Troxerutin (2%): It improves the tone and elasticity of blood vessels. It helps reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain in the affected area and promotes better blood circulation. 
• Calcium dobesilate (0.25%): It has vasoprotective properties. It improves blood circulation, promotes the healing of damaged blood vessels, and alleviates pain and inflammation.
• Lidocaine (3%): It is a local anaesthetic that stops nerve signals in the specific region where it is used. Lidocaine inhibits the transmission of pain signals from the nerves to the brain. It helps to numb the affected area, providing temporary relief from pain and discomfort.
• Hydrocortisone (0.25%): It is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces inflammation, pain, itching, and redness in the affected area, providing relief and promoting healing.
• Phenylephrine (0.1%): It is a vasoconstrictor. It constricts blood vessels in the affected area to reduce swelling, inflammation, and discomfort. It also temporarily shrinks the hemorrhoidal tissue.
• Zinc oxide (5%): It has soothing properties and forms a protective barrier on the skin. It helps protect the affected area from further irritation, promotes healing, and provides a cooling effect and helps make bowel movements less painful.

• Store this cream at a temperature below 25 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Pilogo Plus Cream 30gm away from children.
• Do not use this cream after the expiry date has passed.

• Take Hot sitz baths for 10-15 minutes 4-5 times a day to soothe the affected area and promote healing. 
• Increase your fibre intake from fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes. Fibre helps soften stools and promotes regular bowel movements, reducing the strain on the anal area.
• Stay hydrated by drinking adequate water throughout the day to maintain hydration and prevent constipation. 
• Avoid straining during bowel movements. Consult your doctor about taking a stool softener or fibre supplement to ease passage if needed.
• Keep the anal area clean and dry. Use gentle, fragrance-free cleansing products and pat the area dry after washing.
• Engage in regular physical activity to promote bowel regularity and improve circulation. 
• Take breaks if you have a sedentary job, and avoid prolonged sitting or standing, which can put pressure on the anal area.
• Limit consumption of spicy foods, alcohol, caffeine, and acidic foods, as they can irritate the digestive system and worsen symptoms.
