HALOVATE S LOTION 30ML is employed for the management of the following health conditions:

• Plaque psoriasis (A condition that causes red, scaly skin patches).
• Atopic dermatitis (A type of inflammation of the skin).
• Eczema (A condition where patches of skin become inflamed, itchy, cracked, and rough).
• Seborrheic dermatitis (Which leads to flaky scales over oily areas such as the scalp or inside the ear).
• Lichen planus (A condition which can cause swelling and irritation in the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes).
• Lichen simplex chronicus (Characterised by thickened skin areas triggered by repeated scratching or rubbing).
• Prurigo nodularis (Which causes hard, itchy lumps to form on the skin).
• Nummular dermatitis (Which causes coin-shaped spots to form on your skin).

To use HALOVATE S LOTION 30ML correctly, please follow these steps:

• Puncture nozzle before use.
• Ensure your hands and the affected area are clean and dry before application. You can wash it with soap and water, then pat it dry with a clean towel.
• Apply a thin film of the lotion on your skin using your fingertips or a clean cotton swab. The amount required will depend on the size of the affected area.
• Gently massage the product into your skin until it is fully absorbed.
• Always wash your hands after application to avoid spreading any infection.

HALOVATE S LOTION 30ML contains two active ingredients:

• Halobetasol propionate (0.05%): This component is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties. It works by suppressing the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation, reducing swelling and redness in the area where it's applied.
• Salicylic acid (3%): This agent encourages shedding skin cells from the outer layer of your skin (stratum corneum) by dissolving the 'cement' that holds these cells together. This action reduces skin thickening and improves the penetration of halobetasol into the skin layers.

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Protect it from freezing temperatures.
• Store it away from direct light and moisture.
• Always keep the lotion out of reach of children.
• Remember to use the lotion within three months of opening the tube.
