Fusys 150 Tablet is effective in treating various fungal infections, including oral thrush, vaginal yeast infections, ringworm, and fungal nail infections. It helps manage the symptoms of these infections, such as itching, burning, and abnormal discharge, by inhibiting fungal growth.

To use Fusys 150 Tablet:

• Take as prescribed: Follow your doctor's instructions on how to take Fusys 150 Tablet.

• Swallow whole: Take the tablet with water without chewing or crushing it.

• With or without food: You can take Fusys 150 Tablet with or without food.

Fusys 150 Tablet is taken orally, which means it is swallowed with water. It should not be used topically or injected.

Fusys 150 Tablet contains fluconazole. Here is how it works:

• Fluconazole inhibits the growth of fungi by interfering with their cell membranes.

• It targets a specific enzyme called cytochrome P450-dependent lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, which is essential for fungal cell membrane synthesis.

• It disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes.

• This disruption weakens and damages the fungal cells, leading to their death and ultimately managing the fungal infection.

• Store Fusys 150 Tablet below 30°C.

• Protect it from moisture and direct sunlight.

• Keep it out of reach of children.

• Use the product before its expiry date.

• Maintain good hygiene to prevent the spread of fungal infections.

• Avoid wearing tight or synthetic clothing that can trap moisture.

• Practise regular handwashing to minimise the risk of infection.

• Keep your nails clean and trimmed to prevent fungi from growing underneath them.

• Eat a balanced, fibre-diet rich to support your immune system.

• Stay hydrated throughout the day.

• Take Fusys 150 Tablets as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet whole with or without food.

• Complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better.

• Inform your doctor if the infection does not improve.

• Use a reliable method of contraception while taking Fusys 150 Tablet.

• Seek medical attention for severe side effects or signs of an allergic reaction.

• Avoid antacid treatments within one hour before or two hours after taking Fusys 150 Tablet.
