Furamist Nasal Spray 6gm

Furamist Nasal Spray is used to manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion. It reduces inflammation inside the nasal passages and provides long-lasting relief from both seasonal and perennial allergies. 

To use Furamist Nasal Spray effectively, follow these steps:

• Start by shaking the bottle gently before each use.
• Prime the nasal spray if you are using it for the first time or if it hasn't been used for more than 30 days.
• Administer the recommended number of sprays in each nostril, as directed by your doctor.
• Avoid spraying it into your eyes; it's meant for nasal use only.

Furamist Nasal Spray contains fluticasone furoate (27.5 mcg), which acts on the body in the following ways:

• Binding to Glucocorticoid Receptors: Fluticasone furoate binds to specific receptors called glucocorticoid receptors in the lining of your nose. These receptors are part of your body's immune response system.  
• Suppression of Inflammatory Mediators: Once bound to these receptors, fluticasone furoate suppresses certain substances in your body known as inflammatory mediators. These include histamine, leukotrienes, and prostaglandins, which typically trigger inflammation and other allergic reactions.  
• Reduction of Nasal Inflammation: By suppressing these inflammatory mediators, fluticasone furoate effectively reduces inflammation in the nasal passages. This action helps alleviate congestion and other symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis.

• Keep Furamist Nasal Spray at room temperature and do not freeze or refrigerate.
• Protect the spray from excessive light and moisture.
• Ensure the medicine is out of reach for children.
• Always use Furamist Nasal Spray before its expiry date.

• Reduce your consumption of common allergenic foods such as dairy, gluten, soy, shellfish, and peanuts.
• Incorporating a regular exercise routine can also help strengthen your immune system and potentially reduce allergy symptoms.
• Running on a treadmill or doing yoga indoors can be beneficial, especially during peak pollen seasons.
