Forglyn Plus Inhaler is used for the following:

• Maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Management of chronic bronchitis in adults

• Control of emphysema symptoms in adults

Here are some guidelines on how to use Forglyn Plus Inhaler:

• Prime the inhaler before first use or if it hasn't been used for more than a week.

• Proper inhalation technique should be followed for effective delivery of the medicine into airways.

• After use, rinse your mouth with water to reduce the risk of oral candidiasis.

• Do not use Forglyn Plus Inhaler for sudden breathing problems. It is recommended to have a short-acting beta2-agonist available for sudden symptoms.

Forglyn Plus Inhaler works due to three active ingredients working together:

• Glycopyrrolate / Glycopyrronium (9 MCG): This anticholinergic agent blocks certain receptors in your lungs, preventing them from constricting and producing excess mucus.

• Formoterol Fumarate (4.8 MCG): Classified as a long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA), formoterol fumarate stimulates specific receptors in your lungs. This action relaxes and widens the muscles around your airways, making it easier for you to breathe.

• Budesonide (160 MCG): This ingredient is an inhaled corticosteroid. It binds to certain receptors in your lungs and reduces inflammation by suppressing the release of substances that can cause it.
