Flutiflo FT Nasal Spray is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, a blocked, runny or itchy nose, post-nasal drip and itchy, watery eyes. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing fluticasone furoate, which belongs to a class of medicines called corticosteroids (steroid nasal sprays).
This medicine is used for seasonal allergies such as hay fever and year-round allergies to dust mites or pet dander. It reduces swelling inside the nose and may take a few days to reach full effect. Shake well, blow your nose, then spray into each nostril as directed by your doctor, and use it regularly.
Keeping windows closed on high-pollen days, reducing dust at home and avoiding smoke can help reduce allergy symptoms.
This spray is for use in the nose only. Before using it, tell your doctor if you have had recent nose surgery or injury, nose ulcers or an active infection, glaucoma or cataracts, and about other medicines you use, especially other steroid medicines. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Contact your doctor if you have frequent nosebleeds, changes in vision, or signs of infection. Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
