Flucos Gel 15gm

Flucos Gel 15gm is used for:

• Treatment of fungal skin infections
• Treatment of ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Treatment of athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• Treatment of jock itch (tinea cruris)
• Treatment of yeast infections of the skin
• Relief of itching and irritation associated with fungal infections

Follow these instructions while applying Flucos Gel 15gm:

• Wash and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer to the affected skin as prescribed by your doctor.
• Gently rub the gel into the skin.
• Wash your hands after applying the medicine unless your hands are being treated.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and inside of the nose.
• Do not apply to broken or severely irritated skin unless advised by your doctor.
• Use the medicine regularly for the full duration prescribed.

Flucos Gel 15gm is for topical use only.

Flucos Gel 15gm contains the following active component:

• Fluconazole (0.5%): This is an azole antifungal agent that inhibits the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, which is required for the synthesis of ergosterol in fungal cell membranes. Reduced ergosterol levels disrupt the fungal cell membrane, preventing fungal growth and helping clear the infection.

• Store below 25°C or as directed on the label.
• Keep the tube tightly closed.
• Protect from heat and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.

• Maintain good personal hygiene to help prevent fungal infections.
• Keep affected areas clean and dry, especially skin folds and feet.
• Wear loose, breathable clothing to reduce moisture buildup.
• Avoid sharing towels, clothing, or personal items.
• Maintain a balanced diet and adequate hydration to support overall skin health.
