Flomist Nasal Spray 10ml

Flomist Nasal Spray is used to treat allergic rhinitis by reducing inflammation inside the nose. It provides relief from symptoms such as sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes caused by seasonal and perennial allergies. Regular use helps maintain clear nasal passages and improves breathing comfort.

• Shake the bottle gently before each use.

• Remove the dust cap.

• Prime the pump before first use or if it hasn't been used for a while.

• Clear your nostrils by gently blowing your nose.

• Tilt your head slightly forward, close one nostril and insert the spray tip into the other.

• Breathe in through your nose while pumping the spray as per dosage.

• Repeat in the other nostril.

• Wipe the spray tip with a clean tissue and replace the cap after use.

Flomist Nasal Spray is administered via an intranasal route.

Flomist Nasal Spray contains fluticasone propionate (50 mcg), which works in the body in the following ways:

• Anti-inflammatory effects: Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic trifluorinated glucocorticoid that has potent anti-inflammatory properties when used intranasally. This means it helps to reduce inflammation or swelling.

• Inhibition of cells and mediators: The medicine inhibits multiple cell types and mediators involved in allergic and non-allergic inflammation. This includes cells such as mast cells, eosinophils, T-lymphocytes, macrophages and substances called cytokines.

• Reduction of symptoms: By reducing inflammation and inhibiting these cells and mediators, fluticasone propionate effectively reduces nasal swelling, mucus production and related symptoms.

• Store Flomist Nasal Spray below 30°C in a cool, dry place.

• Protect it from light to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always keep the cap tightly closed when not in use.

• Ensure to keep it out of reach of children for safety reasons.

• Use the spray before its expiry date for best results.
