Etozox 60 Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation linked with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout. It helps reduce joint swelling and stiffness, which can improve movement and comfort. It is also used for pain after dental surgery.
It contains etoricoxib, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Take it as prescribed, and continue only for the duration your doctor advises, as long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) needs a doctor's supervision. It can be taken with or without food, though taking it with food may reduce stomach upset.
Alongside this medicine, resting the affected joint where possible, applying heat or cold, gentle exercise as advised, and maintaining a healthy weight can help ease joint pain and reduce strain.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, stomach ulcers, or kidney or liver problems, or are taking other medicines. Report any swelling, a rise in blood pressure, stomach pain, or black stools. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
