Etoshine 60 Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with arthritis-related conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gout. It helps reduce joint swelling, stiffness, and tenderness, allowing better mobility during daily activities. The tablet is also useful in easing menstrual cramps and pain following dental procedures.

• Swallow Etoshine tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Consult your doctor before changing the medication dose or taking them more often than prescribed.

Etoshine 60 mg tablet should be administered orally.

The active ingredient in Etoshine tablet is etoricoxib. It belongs to a class of medications known as selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors. Etoricoxib inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase-2, which plays a role in the production of prostaglandins. These chemicals contribute to pain, inflammation, and swelling in the body.

By blocking the action of cyclooxygenase-2, this medication reduces the production of prostaglandins. It leads to a reduction in pain and inflammation. This medication selectively targets COX-2 enzymes while sparing the COX-1 enzymes, which protect the stomach lining and promote platelet function. It helps improve the symptoms associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute gout. 

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Etoshine 60 away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Maintain a healthy weight to reduce stress on the joints.
• To reduce inflammation, increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts.
• Limit processed foods, saturated fats, and sugar, as they can contribute to inflammation.
• Limit or avoid high-purine foods such as red meat, organ meats, and seafood.
• Incorporate cherries, berries, and low-fat dairy products into your diet, which may help reduce gout attacks.
• Engage in low-impact exercises like swimming or cycling to strengthen muscles and improve joint flexibility.
• Practise good posture and perform stretching exercises to maintain spinal flexibility.
• Apply heat or cold packs to alleviate pain and stiffness in affected areas.

• Do not take this medicine if you have severe heart problems.
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of heart attacks or strokes.
• If your symptoms persist for over three days, consult your doctor for a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan.
