CompositionESIFLO 500 TRANSCAPS 30 is used for the regular maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to help prevent breathing problems and reduce flare-ups of COPD symptoms. They should not be used to relieve a sudden attack of breathlessness or wheezing.
It contains salmeterol (50 mcg) and fluticasone propionate (500 mcg), a long-acting beta-2 agonist and an inhaled corticosteroid. Use them as prescribed with the appropriate inhaler device. Rinse the mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of oral thrush.

Tell your doctor about any existing heart conditions, osteoporosis or eye problems before starting. Report any worsening of breathing, increased use of a reliever inhaler, or white patches in the mouth or throat.
