Seroflo 500 Rotacaps is used to manage chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps relieve wheezing, shortness of breath and chest tightness, and reduces how often severe flare-ups occur.
It contains fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways, and salmeterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that helps keep the airways open. Use it with the rotahaler device as prescribed. Do not stop it suddenly, as this may worsen your symptoms.
Avoiding smoke, dust and known allergy triggers helps reduce flare-ups. Rinse your mouth with water after each use to lower the risk of a mouth infection, and keep a fast-acting reliever inhaler on hand for sudden breathlessness.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have tuberculosis, other lung infections, heart problems or diabetes. This medicine is not for treating a sudden asthma attack. Report worsening breathlessness or chest tightness to your doctor promptly.
