CompositionElyn Cream is used to reduce excessive facial hair growth in women, particularly on the upper lip and chin. It does not remove hair but helps slow its regrowth, making hair finer and less noticeable over time.
It works by inhibiting ornithine decarboxylase, an enzyme involved in hair follicle activity. This slows the rate at which new hair grows without affecting the hair already present on the skin.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice a day, at least eight hours apart. Hair removal should be done before application, and the area should be dry before use.
Some skin irritation, tingling, or redness may occur at the application site. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if irritation is severe or persistent.
