DYAMIDE PLUS 10/25 TABLET 10 is used to treat fluid build-up and swelling caused by heart failure, liver disease with ascites, and kidney disease, and to help control resistant high blood pressure and primary hyperaldosteronism in adults.

Uses of DYAMIDE PLUS 10/25 TABLET 10 are:

• Heart Failure: Manages fluid build-up and swelling linked to congestive heart failure.

• Liver Disease: Controls fluid accumulation in liver cirrhosis with ascites.

• Kidney Disease: Reduces oedema associated with nephrotic syndrome and other kidney conditions.

• Blood Pressure: Helps control resistant hypertension and primary hyperaldosteronism.

Follow these instructions while taking DYAMIDE PLUS 10/25 TABLET 10:

• Take the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• It is best to take this tablet in the morning.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

DYAMIDE PLUS 10/25 TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Torsemide (10 mg): It functions as a loop diuretic that works on the ascending loop of Henle in the kidneys. It prevents the reabsorption of sodium and chloride, which leads to increased urinary excretion of these electrolytes along with water, effectively reducing fluid retention in your body.

• Spironolactone (25 mg): It acts as an aldosterone antagonist by blocking the action of the aldosterone hormone in your body. This hormone normally causes sodium and water retention, so by blocking it, spironolactone increases sodium and water excretion while helping your body retain potassium.
