DOSIN CAPSULE 10 is used to manage the symptoms of an enlarged prostate, a non-cancerous condition known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), in men. It helps relieve urinary symptoms such as a weak flow, difficulty starting to urinate, and the frequent or urgent need to pass urine, including at night.
It contains silodosin, which belongs to a group of medicines called alpha-blockers. It eases the passage of urine by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. Take it as prescribed, ideally after the same meal each day.
Rising slowly from sitting or lying down helps reduce dizziness alongside this medicine, especially when you first start it. Reducing fluids in the late evening may help with nighttime urination.
Tell your doctor about any low blood pressure, liver or kidney problems, or planned cataract or other eye surgery before starting, and about other medicines you take. Report fainting or marked dizziness.
