Dabigo 110mg Capsule is used to prevent and treat dangerous blood clots, reducing the risk of stroke in people with an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation), and treating and preventing clots in the deep veins (DVT) and lungs (pulmonary embolism).
It contains dabigatran, an anticoagulant that thins the blood. It works by blocking thrombin, a key part of the blood-clotting process.
Swallow the capsule whole with water, with or without food, and do not break or open it. Take it exactly as prescribed, and do not stop it without medical advice, as stopping suddenly raises the risk of a serious clot.
Tell your doctor about any bleeding problems, kidney problems or stomach ulcers before use, and about all other medicines. Report black or bloody stools, vomiting blood, blood in the urine, unusual bruising, or a severe headache.
