Criticold Total Tablet is used to relieve common cold and flu symptoms in adults, including fever, body ache, a blocked or runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes caused by seasonal colds or allergies. It provides combined relief from several symptoms at once.
It contains caffeine, diphenhydramine, paracetamol and phenylephrine. It combines a pain-relieving and fever-reducing agent with a nasal decongestant and an antihistamine. Take it as prescribed, generally with food, and only for the short duration needed to relieve your symptoms; it is not intended for long-term regular use.
Getting adequate rest, drinking plenty of fluids and using steam inhalation as advised can support recovery alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, or difficulty passing urine before starting, and about other cold or allergy medicines you take. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you, as it can cause drowsiness.
