Corbis T 5 Tablet is used in adults to manage high blood pressure, stable chest pain and heart failure, and to lower the risk of heart-related complications.

Uses of Corbis T 5 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults.
• Chest Pain (Angina): Helps manage stable chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.
• Heart Failure: Supports the management of heart failure and reduces strain on the heart.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Helps reduce the risk of heart-related death, particularly in patients over 55 years with coronary artery disease.

Follow these instructions while taking Corbis T 5 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Corbis T 5 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Corbis T 5 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Bisoprolol (5 mg): This component is a beta-blocker that works by blocking beta-1 receptors in your heart. These receptors normally respond to hormones called catecholamines, which make your heart beat faster and harder. By blocking this action, bisoprolol slows down your heart rate and reduces the force of contractions, lowering your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes your blood vessels to narrow. By preventing this effect, telmisartan allows your blood vessels to relax and widen, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure.

• Store at room temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep it in its original packaging until ready to use.

• Protect from moisture, heat, and direct light.

• Store out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Lowering your salt consumption helps manage high blood pressure (hypertension). Aim to limit salt to less than 5g daily by avoiding processed foods and not adding extra salt to meals.

• Engage in moderate exercise like brisk walking for 30 minutes most days of the week to help lower blood pressure and improve heart health.
