Concor Plus Tablet may have the following common side effects:

Fatigue
Dizziness
Headache
Nausea
Constipation
Diarrhoea
Cold extremities: This can be experienced as cold hands or feet.
Slow heart rate: Also known as bradycardia, this is when your heart beats slower than normal.
Increased blood uric acid levels: This can sometimes lead to conditions like gout.
Altered blood lipid levels: This can affect the amount of fats, such as cholesterol and triglycerides, in your blood.

Managing the Side Effects:

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless, which resolve upon discontinuing the use of Concor Plus Tablet. However, if you experience any serious side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

Concor Plus Tablet consists of two active components:

Bisoprolol (5 mg): As a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker, Bisoprolol acts on your heart. It reduces both your heart rate and the force of your heart contractions, lowering your heart's workload and oxygen demand. By enhancing the efficiency of your heart's pumping action, Bisoprolol aids in reducing blood pressure.
Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This thiazide diuretic contributes to lowering blood pressure by increasing urine production, which helps remove excess water and salt from your body. Over time, it also relaxes and widens your blood vessels, enhancing blood flow and contributing further to managing high blood pressure.

The combined activity of these two medicines results in a more significant reduction in blood pressure than either component alone.

Pregnancy

Concor Plus Tablet is contraindicated during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, make sure to discuss this with your doctor before starting this medicine.

Breastfeeding
