Coldact Capsule 20

Coldact Capsule is used in the following conditions:

• Relief in cough: Coldact Capsule provides relief in cough, which occurs due to throat irritation, sneezing, and running nose.
• Relief from symptoms of the common cold: This capsule can also relieve nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and post-nasal drip.
• Relief from symptoms of upper respiratory allergies: The symptoms of allergic rhinitis can also be alleviated with this capsule.

• Swallow the Coldact Capsule whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the capsule, as this may affect the way the medication is absorbed in the body.
• Do not change your capsule dose or take it more often than prescribed.

Coldact Capsule should be taken orally.

Coldact Capsule contains the following components:

• Phenylephrine hydrochloride (20 mg): It is a nasal decongestant that helps relieve nasal congestion by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages. Phenylephrine reduces swelling and congestion, making it easier to breathe through the nose.
• Chlorpheniramine maleate (8 mg): It is an antihistamine that helps reduce the effects of histamine, a substance released by the body during allergic reactions. Chlorpheniramine maleate helps relieve symptoms like sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose associated with upper respiratory allergies.

• Store Coldact Capsule at room temperature.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Coldact Capsule away from children.
• Do not use Coldact Capsule after the expiry date has passed.

• Limit exposure to irritants such as smoke, strong odours, and pollutants, as they can trigger or worsen respiratory symptoms. 
• Breathe in steam from a bowl of warm water to alleviate nasal congestion and soothe irritated airways.
• Use saline nasal sprays or drops to help clear nasal passages and reduce congestion.
• Gargle with warm salt water 3-4 times a day to help alleviate throat discomfort.
• Consider using a humidifier or vaporiser to add moisture to the air, particularly in dry environments. It can help soothe coughs and relieve congestion.
