Cipmox 250 Capsule is used to treat a range of bacterial infections in adults and children as prescribed by a doctor.

Uses of Cipmox 250 Capsule are:

• Respiratory Infections: Treats pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, and tonsillitis.
• Ear and Urinary Infections: Manages otitis media (ear infection) and urinary tract infections.
• Skin and Dental Infections: Treats infections affecting the skin, soft tissue, and teeth.
• Typhoid and H. pylori: Used to manage typhoid fever and, in combination with other medicines, to eradicate Helicobacter pylori in peptic ulcer disease.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Don't chew or crush it.
• The capsule can be taken with or without food.

Cipmox 250 Capsule consists of amoxicillin (250 mg), which works as follows:

• Inhibits Bacterial Cell Wall Synthesis: Amoxicillin works by blocking key proteins called penicillin-binding proteins inside the bacterial cell wall. These proteins are crucial in forming a strong cell wall.
• Causes Cell Lysis: With these proteins blocked, amoxicillin prevents the cross-linkage of peptidoglycan chains that are necessary for cell wall strength and rigidity. This leads to the weakening of the cell wall, causing the bacterial cell to break down and die, which is also known as cell lysis.

• Store Cipmox 250 Capsule in a cool, dry place.
• Keep it away from direct light and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Ensure you use the capsules before their expiry date.

• If you are taking Cipmox 250 Capsule for urinary tract infections, increase your water intake to help flush out bacteria.
