Amotid Forte 250 MG Syrup 60 ML contains amoxicillin (250 mg) as the active ingredient. It works in the human body in the following manner:

• Amoxicillin belongs to the beta-lactam class of antibiotics. It works by inhibiting specific proteins known as penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall. By inhibiting these proteins, the medicine disrupts the synthesis of bacterial cell walls.
