Cefakind 250 Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, tonsils, sinuses, ears, chest, urinary tract and skin, as well as early Lyme disease. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing cefuroxime axetil, and belongs to a class of medicines called cephalosporin antibiotics.

This medicine works by damaging the outer wall of bacteria, which kills them and clears the infection. Take it after food, which helps the body absorb it, as directed by your doctor, and complete the full course even if you feel better early.
