Cataspa Tablet 10

Cataspa Tablet can interact with medications, including:

• Antihypertensive medications such as atenolol. This tablet may diminish the blood pressure-lowering effect of antihypertensive medications.
• Insulin and other antidiabetic medications such as metformin. These may interfere with the absorption of this tablet.
• Antiviral medications such as amantadine. The concomitant use may increase specific actions or side effects of this medication.  
• Antacids. These may interfere with the absorption of this tablet.
• NSAIDS such as aspirin. The concomitant may increase the risk of potential adverse effects. 
• Anticoagulants such as warfarin. The concomitant use can increase the risk of severe gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Antihistamines. The concomitant use may increase specific actions or side effects of this medication. 
• Antiarrhythmic medications such as digoxin. The concomitant use may increase specific actions or side effects of this medication.
• Nitrate vasodilators such as isosorbide. The concomitant use may increase specific actions or side effects of this medication.  
• Antidepressants such as lithium. The concomitant use may increase specific actions or side effects of this medication.
• Narcotic pain relievers such as meperidine. The concomitant use may increase specific actions or side effects of this medication. 
• Immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine. The concomitant use of this tablet may increase cyclosporine’s nephrotoxicity.
• Diuretics such as furosemide. It can interfere with the activity of this tablet.
• Cancer medications such as methotrexate. The concomitant use may increase the blood concentration of methotrexate.
• Antifungals such as voriconazole. It can interfere with the activity of this tablet.
• Antiglaucoma agents such as timolol. The concomitant use may increase intraocular pressure.

Cataspa Tablet can interact with diseases, including:

• Peptic ulcers: This tablet may increase the risk of gastric/ peptic ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Heart problems: This tablet may cause fluid retention and oedema, exacerbating heart problems. 
• Myasthenia gravis: Overdosing this tablet may lead to muscular weakness and paralysis.
• Glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye): This tablet may worsen the existing glaucoma.
• Reflux esophagitis: This tablet may worsen the existing condition.
• Intestinal obstruction: This tablet may cause diarrhoea, so patients with ileostomy or colostomy should carefully take this tablet.
• Urinary obstruction: This tablet may cause urinary retention and worsen the existing condition.
• Ulcerative colitis: Large doses of this tablet may suppress intestinal motility or aggravate the severe complications of the colon.

Take the daily dose of Cataspa Tablet as directed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor. 

If you take an excessive amount of Cataspa Tablet by accident, it is essential to get immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital. Symptoms of an overdose include drowsiness, blurred vision, weakness, and nausea.

If you forgot to take the Cataspa tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, it is recommended to skip the missed one now and resume your regular dosage pattern. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.
