Buscogast Injection is used to relieve pain caused by muscle spasms. It can manage cramps in the stomach, intestine, bladder and ureter. It is also helpful in alleviating symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome, such as abdominal pain, cramping, bloating and diarrhoea or constipation.
It contains hyoscine butylbromide 20 mg, an antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscles in the digestive and urinary tracts. It is administered by a doctor or nurse, who will decide the appropriate dose and frequency.
It is important to complete the recommended duration of treatment to avoid a recurrence of symptoms and to prevent your condition from worsening.
Before receiving this injection, inform your doctor about any allergies, medical conditions or medicines you are currently taking, as there may be possible interactions.
