Budamate Neb 0.5 mg Respules are used for the long-term maintenance management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults and children over 6 years of age. They help reduce airway inflammation and prevent breathing difficulties such as wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath.
They contain budesonide, a corticosteroid that reduces swelling in the lungs, and formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles. Use the nebuliser suspension as prescribed by your doctor. Continue using it regularly even when you have no symptoms. This medication is for preventive maintenance and should not be used to treat a sudden asthma attack.
Avoiding known allergy triggers, avoiding tobacco smoke, and maintaining clean respiratory equipment help support optimal lung function alongside treatment.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of tuberculosis, fungal or viral infections, high blood pressure, heart issues, or diabetes. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with water after each nebulisation session to help prevent fungal throat infections and hoarseness. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
