Foracort 0.5 mg Respules are used for the long-term maintenance management of asthma and COPD in adults and children, helping to reduce airway inflammation, relax airway muscles and prevent symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness and breathlessness. They are not for the relief of a sudden attack.
They contain budesonide and formoterol. Use them via a nebuliser as prescribed; rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of oral thrush. Always keep a short-acting reliever inhaler for sudden attacks.
Quitting smoking, avoiding known triggers and keeping to all monitoring appointments support better respiratory health alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any cardiovascular conditions or liver disease before starting.
