Foracort 0.5 Respules are used for the long-term maintenance of asthma and COPD in adults and children. They reduce airway inflammation and help prevent wheezing, chest tightness and breathlessness. They are not for the relief of a sudden attack.
They contain budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid, and formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator. Together they calm inflammation and keep the airways open.
Use them via a nebuliser as prescribed, and rinse your mouth with water after each use to reduce the risk of oral thrush. Always keep a short-acting reliever for sudden attacks.
Tell your doctor about any heart condition or liver disease before starting.
