Foracort Respules are used for the long-term control of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains budesonide, a steroid that calms inflammation in the airways, and formoterol, which relaxes the muscles around them. Used regularly as your doctor advises, it helps control symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, and breathlessness. It is not for immediate relief during a sudden asthma attack, when a reliever (rescue) inhaler should be used instead.
Consult your doctor or healthcare professional for the right dose and how to use it. Follow any precautions they give, especially if you have liver or kidney disease, are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
