Bonspark Nasal Spray 3.7ml

Bonspark Nasal Spray 3.7ml is primarily used in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis, helping in the management of bone density and may help reduce the risk of fractures.

• Since this spray needs refrigeration, allow it to reach room temperature before application.
• Hold the bottle upright and press the two white side arms of the pump toward the bottle until a full spray is released. Repeat until the first full spray is released to prime the pump.
• Carefully place the nozzle into the nostril with the patient's head upright. Then, firmly depress the pump toward the bottle to administer the dose.
• The pump only needs to be primed before the first use. Subsequently, there's no need to prime the pump for each daily dose. Ensure correct nozzle positioning and the patient's head for effective administration.

Bonspark Nasal Spray 3.7ml is for intranasal use only. 

Bonspark Nasal Spray 3.7ml contains the following component:

• Calcitonin (200 IU): It helps regulate calcium levels in the body. It acts by inhibiting the release of calcium from bones into the bloodstream. The medication helps protect and maintain bone density, especially in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis. It slows down bone loss, thus reducing the risk of fractures. It provides a method to enhance bone health without relying on estrogen-based treatments.

• Store the unopened bottle in the refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze.
• Keep the in-use bottle at room temperature, stored in an upright position, within the range of 15°C–30°C (59°F–86°F), for a duration of up to 35 days. Each bottle is designed to provide at least 30 doses.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Include calcium-rich foods like milk, yoghurt, cheese, green leafy veggies, fish with bones (salmon, sardines), calcium-fortified cereals, and orange juice.
• Soak sunlight for vitamin D synthesis, which is crucial for strong bones and muscles.
• Consume vitamin D-rich foods like egg yolks, salmon, sardines, and mackerel.
• To prevent bone loss, engage in brisk walking, dancing, jogging, and strength training.
• Incorporate stress-relief activities such as meditation and yoga.
• Keep a healthy weight to alleviate pressure on the bones.
• If at risk for osteoporosis, consider prescribed medications.
