Asthafen 1 Mg Syrup 60 Ml contains ketotifen (1 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Histamine Blocking: Ketotifen prevents histamine, a substance in your body that causes allergic symptoms, from attaching to cells and triggering allergic reactions.
• Prevention of Inflammatory Mediator Release: It stops the release of various substances from cells called mast cells that would otherwise cause inflammation in your lungs and airways.
