Ketograce Tablet 10

Ketograce Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing chronic kidney disease

• Delaying the progression of renal failure

• Reducing blood urea levels

• Supporting patients on protein-restricted diets

• Improving nutritional status in kidney disease

• Preserving remaining kidney function

• Minimising further kidney damage

• Reducing the accumulation of uremic toxins

• Delaying the need for long-term dialysis

• Improving protein metabolism in kidney patients

Follow these instructions while taking Ketograce Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Ketograce Tablet is taken orally.

Ketograce Tablet contains a combination of calcium salts of ketoacids and essential amino acids that work together to improve protein metabolism in people with chronic kidney disease:

• Calcium salts of ketoacids (various forms totalling 381 mg): These compounds help reduce urea formation in the body, lowering the accumulation of uremic toxins (harmful waste products) that can damage kidneys further.

• L-Lysine (105 mg): This essential amino acid supports protein synthesis without adding extra nitrogen load to the body, helping maintain muscle mass while reducing strain on the kidneys.

• L-Threonine (53 mg): Provides nutritional support by delivering essential amino acids without contributing additional nitrogen that would need to be filtered by already compromised kidneys.

• L-Tryptophan (23 mg): Contributes to the overall amino acid profile, supporting nutrition without adding significant nitrogen load to the body.

• L-Histidine (38 mg): Helps improve protein metabolism in CKD patients, supporting nutritional status without increasing the burden on the kidneys.

• L-Tyrosine (30 mg): Provides essential amino acid support while minimising nitrogen waste that would otherwise need to be processed by the kidneys.

• Follow a low-protein diet (about 0.6 g per kg of body weight daily) while taking Ketograce Tablet to help reduce the workload on your kidneys and slow the progression of chronic kidney disease.

• Limit foods high in phosphorus (such as processed foods, dairy products, and carbonated drinks), as they can worsen kidney function in people with chronic kidney disease.
