Apdrops PD Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial eye infections and reduce associated redness, irritation and swelling.
It contains moxifloxacin, an antibiotic, and prednisolone, a corticosteroid; benzalkonium chloride is also present. Together, they treat susceptible bacteria and reduce eye inflammation. Use it only in the affected eye, as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands before applying it, and avoid letting the dropper tip touch your eye or any other surface.
Avoid wearing contact lenses while using this eye drop, unless your doctor says it is safe to do so. Wait at least 15 minutes after applying before putting lenses back in.
Complete the full course of treatment even if your symptoms improve early, as stopping too soon may allow the infection to return or worsen. Tell your doctor if you have known allergies to any antibiotics, or if your symptoms do not improve within a few days.
