It contains glyceryl trinitrate (nitroglycerin), a long-acting nitrate belonging to the class of anti-anginal medicines. Swallow the capsule whole with water, without crushing or chewing it, at the same time each day as prescribed. Continue taking it even if you feel well, and do not stop suddenly.
