Alcros 100 Capsule contains itraconaole (100 mg). It acts on the body in the following ways

• Inhibits Fungal Enzyme: Itraconazole works by blocking a key fungal enzyme known as lanosterol 14α-demethylase. This enzyme plays a crucial role in forming ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane.

• Disrupts Fungal Cell Membrane: By inhibiting lanosterol 14α-demethylase, Itraconazole disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, leading to increased cell membrane permeability and leakage of cellular contents.

• Halts Fungal Proliferation: Besides disrupting the fungal cell membrane, Itraconazole also prevents the proliferation and growth of fungi, thereby managing various types of fungal infections.

• Keep Alcros 100 Capsule at room temperature, ideally between 15-30°C.
